Cowboy Casanova

I heard the song Cowboy Casanova by Carrie Underwood on the radio this summer and may have had someone pop into my head *cough cough*. So I decided to draw my interpretation of what this guy would look like.

Muscles

I haven't posted in forever!! School really gets in the way of drawing. Over break I will hopefully be able to do this a lot more frequently as long as I have a working scanner.

So here is from the class I bought online by Riven Pheonix as I mentioned earlier. But I added the left face, that is original.

Self Portrait: Cardboard Sculpture

In my 3D Approaches class we get to make a cardboard sculpture of ourselves. I am incredibly excited for this project!!! Here is the start of it and hopefully I will be able to post it in progression. I started off creating a X and Y axis type model and connected them together. Later on I added Z axis braces but didn't take pictures of it. Just kidding, my first step was to whip out my eye liner and mark dots all over my face an inch apart and take 69 photos of me in different positions so that I can accurately measure the curves of the bone structure. After that I put a couple photos in Photoshop and measured out the length of my nose, eyes, etc so that I could transfer it to cardboard. The result of all that is below. Personally I think the profile shot looks a lot like me! And might I just add that I AM under the realization that I look very attractive with the dots on my face... be jealous everyone.
